Welcome!!. The show MegaMix was born out of one man's passion for music and love for his nation JAMAICA.
DJ Bridge started out as a DJ in 1989 when he moved to Canada from his homeland, playing music at clubs and special events. Now, he also spins his music at the campus radio in the University of Waterloo, called CKMS 100.3 FM.
He has been doing this for approximately eight years, all because of one man that made all this happen for him- Super V. They both met in 1998 and he (Super V) had invited him to come sit with him at CKMS week after week. DJ Bridge eventually co-hosted with him and also traveled to Guelph to host at CFRU 93.3 fm.
DJ Bridge enjoyed it so much that when Super V was offered another station, he took the position at CKMS. He changed the name from "Sound Intensify" to "MegaMix", playing Reggae and Soca.
The show has been one success after another. He has interviewed known artists like Mike Thompson, Jah Beng, Spider, Lone Ranger, Errol Dunkley and many more.
DJ Bridge has been at CKMS now for over seven years and rocking the airwaves with his partner- Mr. Sweetness.
